In this virtual art course, students will explore painting, drawing, sculpture, and mixed media, while discovering inspiring stories and techniques from art history. The teaching style focuses on building skills through technique and encouraging curiosity by exploring a variety of mediums.

Since starting the Cherrywood Treehouse Art Studio in Austin, TX many kids and families have been through the space. It has brought so much joy to my life - and I am excited to be offering this experience virtually! Kids need a space to be themselves and creative. I would love to partner with you to help make that happen in your home, virtually!
Each class will begin with a fun Daily Doodle warm-up in our mini sketchbook to spark creativity and loosen up. After a few quick doodle prompts, we’ll dive into our main project for the day. To make it easy to follow along, I’ll upload step-by-step class instructions the day before, so students can review materials and get set up before we create together on Zoom.

I actually started teaching kids in Alpharetta, GA in 2013! Helping people tap into their creativity is my passion, especially kids. Interests outside of the studio are dancing (two stepping and salsa), playing with my dog Chip, strength training, and staying creative!
